Health Reform: An undercover operation disclosed on Wednesday shows just how easy it is to defraud ObamaCare. This is your health care on government.

To test administration claims that it had strict controls in place to verify eligibility and subsidy amounts for ObamaCare applicants, the Government Accountability Office sent a dozen people out to try enrolling with made-up identities.

All but one of the 12 succeeded in enrolling in a subsidized ObamaCare plan. [snip]

The scale of the problem is potentially massive. According to the GAO, 4.3 million ObamaCare applications have known "inconsistencies" — most of which involve questions about citizenship or income. Only 650,000 of these — or 15% — have been cleared.

Look how HHS funds/resources are being spent on what appears orchestrated illegal care, same with ICE, border security...all diverted to care for wave of illegals. State and community resources will also be forces to do the same

It's not the individual fraud that is really worrying, its the organized fraud.

I'm sure the Russian, Chinese, Ukrainian and the old fashioned Italian mobs are all backing up trucks to haul their cash away. Drug gangs are organized, al Qaeda, Nigerian scammers.

We left the door to the treasury wide open with this one.

• $67 million has been spent on federal "navigator" grants but five of the six undercover agents couldn't find anyone who would help them.
• They can't verify that its subsidy payments to insurers go only for those enrolled, inviting insurers to inflate their enrollment numbers.
