Israeli troops entering Gaza last week have so far uncovered 18 tunnels used by Hamas to send armed terrorists into Israel and built using an estimated 800,000 tons of concrete.
What else might that much concrete build? Erecting Dubais Burj Khalifa, the worlds tallest tower, required 110,000 tons of concrete. Hamas, then, couldve treated itself to seven such monstrosities and still had a few tens of thousands of tons to spare. If it wanted to build kindergartens equipped with bomb shelters, like Israel has built for the besieged citizens of Sderot, for exampleafter all, noted military strategists like Jon Stewart have spent last week proclaiming that Gazas citizens had nowhere to hide from Israels artilleryHamas could have used its leftovers to whip up about two that were each as big as Giants Stadium. And thats just 18 tunnels. Egypt, on its end, recently claimed to have destroyed an additional 1,370. Thats a lot of concrete.

800,000 tons of concrete doesn’t happen without state support.
Jon Stewart (aka Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz) just like many of our top leaders, never spent a day in uniform.
As much as I agree Stewart is a hosebag, lack of military service does not indicate an unqualified opinion. Cruz, Palin, Ben Carson, Rush and others all have solid conservative creds but did not serve and some (not all) would make great leaders.
Governor Palin was the leader of the only state with active duty forces, due to its geographic location. No, one doesn’t have to be Ike, Grant or Jackson to lead the country.

Israel needs a covert ‘underground earthquake bomb’.
One good deep groundshaker and collapse all those Gaza tunnels in one fell swoop and take a boatload of buildings too. Let the ham asses spend their time rebuilding instead of shooting off rockets.
What a relief... thought I alone thinking the Burj Khalifa was the ugliest building in the world... it looks like an intentional monument to bad taste...
