A lot of news stories these days sound like satire. The country has become a farse.
After reading the first sentence, I had to look and see if it was satire.
They are complaining that the US is not fixing their problems?
I see the world as a small town with no laws, no mayor, no police force and no other government. And each country is a home on its own plot of land. Think of the oceans as the streets.
So, the US is a really big and really nice house while Honduras is a single wide with a car on blocks in the front yard. And they don’t like their situation. Their people are just sitting around doing nothing and causing trouble while their kids are showing up, asking if we’ll adopt them. No. Strike that. Asking if we will give them a nice room of their own with a big Barbie playhouse and they are still connected to their parents.
Maybe they should work to put some wheels on that car, sell it, and use the money to do some improvements, build a garden, buy some chickens and cows, etc.
Sometimes I'm reading a real news story and I can barely believe that it's not from The Onion!
