I think the only thing that would wake up the sleeping idiots is an EMP strike. No more TV, no more texting, facebook, twitter, skype, nothing. They would never survive w/o all their gadgets, reality TV and fast-food. Hell, they don’t even SPEAK to anyone - they text each other from opposite sides of a room.
