If you blink during the video, you might miss the moment Jonah's tomb in Mosul, Iraq, explodes.
The first few frames show the revered shrine towering over its landscape. There's a sudden burst of dust, fire and smoke.
Then, nothing.
CNN could not immediately confirm the authenticity of the video, which was posted to YouTube.
The holy site is thought to be the burial place of the prophet Jonah, who was swallowed by a whale or fish in both the Islamic and Judeo-Christian traditions.
Militants belonging to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, planted explosives around the tomb and detonated the explosion remotely Thursday, civil defense officials there told CNN.

Blowing up Jonah’s tomb seems a little girly to me. Blowing up a shrine doesn’t take much skill. I can live with it, because there is the empty tomb. That’s what I believe and their cowardly attacks can’t change that one. As usual, they fight and attack those whom do not fight back, they hide in women’s burkas and do evil. Call me, unimpressed.
It appears it was just a mosque anyway. These guys are hell bent on destroying anything of ancient value, but as long as it was a mosque I’m ok with it.

At some point they’ll all be sitting in piles of rubble complaining about how poorass they are——and complaining it’s Bush’s fault.
As far as Jonah's tomb, I personally doubt that God would allow one of his prized, beloved prophets to be desecrated like this. In foreknowledge of these events, thousands of years ago God probably had Jonah's remains safely tucked away where no one knows.
