Police To Pay $1.8M For Dorner Manhunt Shooting

A surfer who was hurt when a Los Angeles-area police officer rammed and shot up his truck during the manhunt for cop-turned-killer Christopher Dorner will receive $1.8 million.

The 38-year-old Perdue was on his way to surf in February 2013 when a Torrance officer mistook his pickup for Dorner’s, rammed it and riddled it with bullets. Perdue wasn’t shot but suffered head and spine injuries.

Sadly, they deserve it. The police were going nuts and there wasn’t enough evidence that they were in immediate danger from these people. We have to pay out. And this blurb doesn’t even say that the one woman was indeed shot.

Ha ha ha! I loved those signs that day.

Such an eerie day in L.A. Everywhere you went was Dorner’s photo and info on every electronic billboard. Police presence was everywhere and they were visibly anxious.
