As usual, the real story is in the comments following the propaganda.
Even the NYT’s liberal readers are outraged by this treasonous/and/or/boneheaded idea.
It's heartening to read the comments. Occasionally, a goofy lib (e.g., Eleanore1946) spouts the happy-clappy party line about "children." Fortunately, the overwhelming majority of comments sound like they could be Freepers . . . but we know they are not.
Will these people have the balls to remember this in November and beyond?
