Not only have more unaccompanied children illegally crossed the southern border this year — more than twice last year's total — but they are crossing at much younger ages, according to a study released this week.
There has been a 117% increase in apprehensions among unaccompanied children ages 12 and younger and a 12% increase among teenagers between the 2013 and 2014 fiscal years, according to government statistics obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by the Pew Research Center.
There are still more 13- to 17-year-olds crossing, 84% of youths apprehended. Most are 16- and 17-year-olds, Lopez said.
Fewer than 1% of children caught this year were younger than 1 year old, and only about 2% were 5 or younger, the report said.

What distresses me the most is the thought of Obummer sitting back and rubbing his hands together saying, “Excellent.”
There are not unaccompanied. They are just letting them off the buses a few blocks away from the border apart from the gangbangers that were with them before after the outcry from the public. This is better for PR and draws far more sympathy this way. The MSM is in on it and will do some sympathy pieces to soften the hearts of LIV and wishywashy Republicans...

Just think. We’ve got to let in all of their extended family members. Think of it like this. 100 new illegal aliens for every “unaccompanied child”. They’re going to be lonesome and need all of their friends and family members here with them during this traumatic “refugee” experience. But hey! Who cares if they stick it to us?! We’re going to feel good about ourselves while they are doing it. Can you feel the “love” yet? And get rid of that American flag! It’s scares “the children” and that’s offensive.
