Archbishop Charles Chaput has been a force fighting against abortion for years, why do you think the Holy Father accepted his invitation in the first place?

I am a lifelong Catholic. And certainly I have had my issues with certain things done and said by the hierarchy over the years.

But virtually NO Catholic clergy support abortion. Just some nuns on the lunatic edge of feminism who frankly ought to be excommunicated anyway.

Chaput, along with Gomez, formed the "Catholic Association of Latino Leaders (CALL)", a group which has an outright mission of infusing the US with "Latino Values".

He now appears to be waking up a bit, but if you read the article, he still gets it wrong. Chaput doesn't realize that Latino culture will vote for big government. He slanders US culture along the way, too, blaming IT for Latino culture trends.

Chaput can go kiss my patoot.

Archbishop Chaput supports giving Communion to pro-abortion politicians. Doing so is a mortal sin.

I couldn’t be less interested in anything Chaput or the Pope might have to say.
