Turkish Prime Minister: Israel Has ‘Surpassed What Hitler Did To Them’
CBS DC ^ | Friday, July 25, 2014 | Staff

WASHINGTON (CBS DC/AP) – Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ridiculed Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza, accusing the Israeli government of “barbarism that surpasses Hitler.”

Speaking at a political re-election rally in the Turkish city of Ordu, Turkey’s prime minister said that Israel has “surpassed what Hitler did to them” and declared the country a “terrorist state.”

“[Israelis] have no conscience, no honor, no pride. Those who condemn Hitler day and night have surpassed Hitler in barbarism,” said Erdoğan. He accused Israel of rejecting ceasefires that Hamas has proposed and “spitting death, spitting blood.”

Erdogan reiterated his opposition to Israel’s operations in the Gaza Strip and said that the Israel Defense Forces have had a “disproportionate” effect and will end any positive relations between Israel and Turkey. Despite the climbing death toll of Palestinians – with nearly 800 killed during the most recent Israeli offensive in Gaza – Erdogan said that the Turkish people should not take out their frustrations on Turkey’s own Jewish community.

>> Don’t let the enemies if Israel “spread the lie” that Israel treats all of Gaza as the enemy. It’s only Hamas!<<

I think we’ve all freakin established that Gaza is not the enemy to you and according to you, Israel agrees with you.

However, the residents of Gaza, all of them, view Israel as their enemy. You and the leaders of Israel better get it together.

And honestly, I believe the Israeli leaders know exactly who they are dealing with.

The US DOES give money to Hamas and you’ve been shown proof of that but you continue to spew your Palestinian propaganda anyway.

You have been shown proof that the US is responsible for providing concrete to Hamas through pressure to Israel and that is how they have built these elaborate tunnels yet you refuse to respond to those facts.

IDF Opens Hospital for Palestinians, Hamas Prevents Access
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3185114/posts

http://www.idfblog.com/blog/2014/07/25/idf-opens-hospital-for-palestinians-hamas-prevents-access/

The IDF has opened a temporary hospital for Palestinians on the Israeli side of the Erez Crossing. Even as terrorists fire rockets at Israel, the hospital is treating wounded civilians in cooperation with the Red Crescent. Hamas, the terrorist organization that rules Gaza, has prevented Palestinians from entering Israel in order to reach the hospital.

How is the IDF Minimizing Harm to Civilians in Gaza?
http://www.idfblog.com/blog/2014/07/16/idf-done-minimize-harm-civilians-gaza/

The IDF does everything possible to limit civilian casualties in Gaza. Hamas exploits these efforts by encouraging Palestinian civilians to ignore the IDF’s warnings.

Phone Calls and Text Messages

As part of its efforts to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza, the IDF makes phone calls and sends text messages to civilians residing in buildings designated for attack. In the following video, you can hear a recording of an IDF soldier calling a Gazan to warn him of an impending airstrike in his vicinity.

Leaflets

The Israel Air Force has dropped leaflets over Gaza that warn civilians to avoid being present in the vicinity of Hamas operatives. These leaflets urge civilians to move away from Hamas targets, making clear Israel’s intention to minimize civilian casualties. Since the operation began, Hamas has repeatedly instructed Palestinians to ignore these warnings.

Roof-Knocking

“Roof knocking” is when the IAF targets a building with a loud but non-lethal bomb that warns civilians that they are in the vicinity of a weapons cache or other target. This method is used to allow all residents to leave the area before the IDF targets the site with live ammunition.

The following video demonstrates how Hamas exploits the IDF’s efforts to avoid civilian casualties. On July 9, Palestinians fled a Hamas target after the IAF fired a warning shot. Moments later, people in the surrounding area flocked to the roof of the target, acting as human shields. The IAF called off the strike to avoid civilian casualties.

Exclusive Interview With IAF Pilots: How They Limit Casualties
http://www.idfblog.com/blog/2014/07/20/exclusive-interview-iaf-pilots-limit-casualties/

While the IDF goes to extraordinary lengths to avoid civilian casualties, Hamas deliberately puts civilians in the line of fire. The terrorist organization bases command centers, weapons storage facilities and concealed rocket launchers inside civilian neighborhoods, sometimes even inside houses. Lt. Or and Lt. Omer are two pilots in the Israel Air Force whose work reduces harm to civilians in Gaza.

Lt. Or is a 25-year-old soldier with an enormous responsibility. He decides whether to call off an airstrike in Gaza for the sake of preserving human life.

Lt. Or operates drones over Gaza in order to gather intelligence before airstrikes. The drones provide the IDF with a clear picture of the ground in real time. “Before every flight, we have a briefing about what is happening in the Strip,” said Lt. Or. “Then we perform a reconnaissance mission to ensure the intelligence matches the reality on the ground.”

The purpose of this intelligence gathering is to ensure that a strike on a target will not cause harm to civilians. “Before every airstrike, the pilot needs permission from us,” Lt. Or. emphasized. “We [Israel] are the only side in this conflict that attempts to prevent civilians from being harmed.”

The USA doesn’t give money or arms to Hamas, but the USA does give humanitarian aid to the People there in Gaza through agencies, such as UNRWA who administers the programs.

And Israel, who controls the goods that go into Gaza (they have a blockade around Gaza) does let the goods that the USA sends in through UNRWA go through their checkpoints, as Israel has no problem with that.

What Israel doesn’t let go through their checkpoints or past their blockade are arms and material for war going to Hamas.

Hamas is a designated foreign terrorist organization with the USA. This carries legal ramifications in our law in the USA and there are severe penalties for anyone supporting them with arms or money.

The USA not only does not “do it” (in terms of supplying Hamas with money or arms), they go beyond that and have listed Hamas as a foreign terrorist organization, and have those legal penalties.

Foreign Terrorist Organizations
http://www.state.gov/j/ct/rls/other/des/123085.htm

Legal Criteria for Designation under Section 219 of the INA as amended

It must be a foreign organization.

The organization must engage in terrorist activity, as defined in section 212 (a)(3)(B) of the INA (8 U.S.C. § 1182(a)(3)(B)),* or terrorism, as defined in section 140(d)(2) of the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Years 1988 and 1989 (22 U.S.C. § 2656f(d)(2)),** or retain the capability and intent to engage in terrorist activity or terrorism.

The organization’s terrorist activity or terrorism must threaten the security of U.S. nationals or the national security (national defense, foreign relations, or the economic interests) of the United States.

Legal Ramifications of Designation

It is unlawful for a person in the United States or subject to the jurisdiction of the United States to knowingly provide “material support or resources” to a designated FTO. (The term “material support or resources” is defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2339A(b)(1) as “ any property, tangible or intangible, or service, including currency or monetary instruments or financial securities, financial services, lodging, training, expert advice or assistance, safehouses, false documentation or identification, communications equipment, facilities, weapons, lethal substances, explosives, personnel (1 or more individuals who maybe or include oneself), and transportation, except medicine or religious materials.” 18 U.S.C. § 2339A(b)(2) provides that for these purposes “the term ‘training’ means instruction or teaching designed to impart a specific skill, as opposed to general knowledge.” 18 U.S.C. § 2339A(b)(3) further provides that for these purposes the term ‘expert advice or assistance’ means advice or assistance derived from scientific, technical or other specialized knowledge.’’

Representatives and members of a designated FTO, if they are aliens, are inadmissible to and, in certain circumstances, removable from the United States (see 8 U.S.C. §§ 1182 (a)(3)(B)(i)(IV)-(V), 1227 (a)(1)(A)).

Any U.S. financial institution that becomes aware that it has possession of or control over funds in which a designated FTO or its agent has an interest must retain possession of or control over the funds and report the funds to the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Other Effects of Designation

Supports our efforts to curb terrorism financing and to encourage other nations to do the same.

Stigmatizes and isolates designated terrorist organizations internationally.

Deters donations or contributions to and economic transactions with named organizations.

Heightens public awareness and knowledge of terrorist organizations.

Signals to other governments our concern about named organizations.

US blocked Qatari funds intended for Hamas employee
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3180818/posts

http://www.freerepublic.com/^http://www.timesofisrael.com/us-blocked-qatari-funds-intended-for-hamas-employees/

The United States has blocked the transfer of Qatari funds earmarked for the salaries of civil servants hired by Hamas in Gaza, The Times of Israel has learned.

A diplomatic source in the Gulf state, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Qatar had transferred hundreds of millions of dollars to Arab Bank for the salaries of some 44,000 Hamas civil servants. Those civil servants — employed by Hamas in Gaza since its takeover of the Strip in 2007 – were rendered jobless by the unity agreement with Fatah last month.

But the money was never processed by Arab Bank and delivered to Hamas, the source told The Times of Israel, due to pressure from the Americans, who consider Hamas a terror organization.

“This is strange, since funds from Qatar have never been blocked in the past,” the source said, referring to the $400 million aid package pledged by Qatari ruler Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa during his visit to Gaza in October 2012.

Hamas’s deputy political bureau chief Moussa Abu Marzouk lambasted Arab Bank for neglecting to process the funds in comments posted on his Facebook page June 28.

Are you seriously going to quote me laws that say its illegal to give money to them?

Ha ha ha you need to stop “star traveling” and get back down here with the rest of us. Obama and his entire administration are completely lawless!! As s matter of fact, do are the damn dems and republicans in the Congress and senate.

You just posted an article your self about an arms deal with Qatar. You also have spammed a gazillion times that Qatar is the main funding source for who? Oh wait, Hamas! Obama is simply using Qatar as a middle man and you are being incredibly petulant.

Yeah, Qatar got some Apache attack helicopters, and a missile defense system ... and they give the USA $11 BILLION for their purchase.

This all kinda started with the Gulf War and the USA’s placement of troops and assets for the Middle East ... and then now it also comes from having the U.S. Combat Air Operations Center for the Middle East - for CENTCOM - moved from Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia to Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base south of Doha, the Qatari capital.

Plus it also involves the “Defense Cooperation Agreement” which has been expanded even more than when it was first agreed upon.

There’s a lot going on there for the USA that started several Presidents back.

The big problem with Qatar is the funding of Hamas - which should be cut off completely!

SO ... it’s not a real problem that the USA gets paid $11 BILLION for the purchase, but with the funding if Hamas.

And, of course the USA should be able to put pressure on them, since they’ve got U.S. Combat Air Operations Center for the Middle East - for CENTCO - right there in Qatar!

You said ... “Obama is simply using Qatar as a middle man ... “

It’s the USA who is getting the money ... :-) ...

To refresh your memory, not that you need it:

Hamas is “very happy” with a pledge this week from the Obama administration to provide $900 million in aid for rebuilding the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip,a spokesman from the Islamist organization told WND.

“We are very happy with this decision,” said Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum, speaking by cell phone from Gaza. “In the first place, this money will go toward reconstructing efforts.”

To: Lil Flower

Yeah, I’m sure they’re happy, so they can be the kind of crooks that we see over here in the USA with bullying and extorting money from people and companies here. It definitely goes on here in the USA and I know it goes on with the Palestinian civilians being bullied and extorted by Hamas criminals.

We go after the crooks here and we need to go after the crooks there, too. But in any case we don’t punish Palestinian civilians and the help they get from UNRWA, which is what Israel allows through their borders, into Gaza. Israel has made a really big deal about this with the Human Rights Council and I sure believe them and don’t think Israel is lying about it.

Another thing to consider here is that Hamas has been getting a lot of bad press in the Arab and Muslim world for not caring about the Palestinian civilians. Hamas has been getting really hammered in the Egyptian press.

Considering how cynical I am about Hamas, I would say that this is Hamas simply “burnishing their image” — on the cheap ... :-) ...

Well, I thought it did ... why is Hamas happy? ... they’re crooks (besides being terrorists) and they’re burnishing their image with the Muslim world “on the cheap”.

Other than that, I’ve already covered the money, as aid through UNRWA for the Palestinian civilians.

I don’t know what else you want to cover.
