I just wish that there was some sort of discernible pattern to these shootings...Maybe guns are bad...

Sure guns can be bad. If they don't shoot straight. If they jam during the ejection cycle. If the magazine doesn't stay locked in. You get the picture.

BTW, there is a pattern to these senseless shootings. Psychosis. Get to the bottom of that and you will erase most of these tragic headlines. Then all you have left to work on are the jihadis, the gangs in Chicago, and planned parenthood.

ABC news was in a rare pro-gun mood tonight, talking about how this doctor armed with a gun in a gun free zone stopped this killer.

Leftists hate it when they hear that guns saved lives..they would have preferred this had been a mass shooting with many killed, then they would have used it to preach their gun control stupidity

When someone starts an article by displaying their total gun ignorance I’m not even reading any more.

I think who ever wrote this has been watching way too many old westerns on TV...

And what caliber were the bullets and cartridges, did he have all the loading supplies and equipment with him?

Maybe he had a percussion pistol using loose powder and balls instead of cartridges.

Investigators said Plotts was unhappy with the hospital’s no-gun policy. While police have not determined the suspect's motive, those feelings could have played a role, Whelan said.

If psychos are going to "protest" gun-free zones by shooting everyone in sight, then we better not have gun-free zones. Thank goodness the doctor ignored (or got an exception to) the gun prohibition.

A good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun.

Imagine that.

It’s a shame he didn’t try to reason with the poor perpetrator before resorting to violence. I’m sure that would of worked.
