If I received one of those Commie Obama dolls at my doorstep I would have kicked that dolls ass

Me too sister, me too! Because at my age, that's probably the only ass I could still kick.

Depending on the doll, many are worth hundreds of dollars. Vintage dolls are expensive...

What's amusing and interesting is that because of the unwarranted freak-out, these gift dolls now have a “birth story” for their new owners.

The woman inadvertently made a funny and cherished memory, so I hope the families save and print out the “creepy” news stories and keep these quirky adoption papers along with the dolls. It sure would add sentimental value to the dolls, and all can have a good-hearted laugh about it for years and generations to come.

At least the lady would know that her naivety and embarrassment actually led to a better outcome than if no attention were drawn to her charity.

Now if she's one of those oddball reclusive church ladies whom every one in town is convinced she is casting spells on them, well okay that's another story, lol.

And it was amusing, too.

In this day and age the default mode is to be wary and cynical, and for good reason, but if the true circumstances were of innocence and kindness, who wouldn’t love to receive such a gift?

It shows that the real America we know and love is still lurking in the shadows of this present bizarro world. I’d consider the doll a blessing for that reassurance alone.

That’s a good observation. I think there are still more people who want to be kind than people who are turkeys.

The more I think about this story the more I love it.

May the woman’s kindness return to her a hundredfold.

File this one under, “The Lord works in mysterious ways.”

Maybe others will be inspired to make similar generous gestures, but will include a note, “This is a gift from a neighbor. Please accept it in the spirit it was given, and pass on gifts to others.”
