Yes, you can cook rice in a pressure cooker. It reduces the cook time considerably.
At home, sure. In a hotel room, not normally.
And why buy them when you're traveling to NY. Seems like you would buy them on the way back to Idaho.
And why buy them from an Arab store...unless of course they come with shrapnel and detonators and directions.
Anyways, maybe we found a few more guys to keep an eye on.
Have you ever seen a pressure cooker blow up? That happened to a friend of mine when a grain of rice got in the hole that was there to release the pressure if too much had built up .
This was a long time ago—maybe the new pressure cookers have corrected the problem. (I don’t own one, so I don’t know ..)
My rice cooker, not a pressure device, cooks rice in 25 minutes. Why use a pressure cooker?
I pan grill chicken to add to the rice in fifteen minutes in a non-pressure cooker.
Does the hotel even have a kitchenette?
I’m working out of state and staying in a extended stay type hotel. Most “nice” hotels do NOT have a stove top...
No kitchenettes at ALL... no place to use a pressure cooker...
