U.S. citizens created Border Crises
The Plain Dealer ^ | July 27, 2014 | By Jeff Darcy

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The flood of Central American women and children crossing the border into the U.S. is not a refugee crisis, or a border crisis, it's an humanitarian crisis, created by the actions of U.S. citizens and inaction of their elected leaders.

While children have walked hundreds of miles, risking violence along the way as they try to escape it, Congress has hardly moved a foot on U.S. immigration reform and not at all on gun control.

How many of the politicians ranting about the children crossing the border have ever lifted a finger to restrict the free-low of U.S. guns being used about Central American drug gangs to terrorize the people now trying to escape into the U.S.?

How many of those trying to block the buses full of children being taken to shelters, smoked pot or snorted coke that had its origins in Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Columbia, Mexico or U.S. drug fields controlled and harvested by gangs from those countries?

The U.S. has a humanitarian crises on its southern border right now because for decades it has had a leadership crises in Washington D.C. when it comes to gun control and immigration reform.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it Uncle Sam.

At least there are now media who are self-identifying as the mouthpieces willingly lying tot he American public in service to the regime. It will be easier to root these out, when the time comes.

How come there are no violent Canadian drugs cartels or waves of Canadian children moving south? Why no gun problems on the northern border? These Central American states are failures.

“How many of the politicians ranting about the children crossing the border have ever lifted a finger to restrict the free-low of U.S. guns being used about Central American drug gangs to terrorize the people now trying to escape into the U.S.?”

The stupid punk who wrote this doesn't seem to realize that selling illegal guns to drug gangs is already against the law and that the Obama Administration illegally provided assault weapons to drug gangs. Does he even know that the Obama Administration is not enforcing the law and allowing gangs and drug sealers to operate in violation of the law? Does he know that the Obama Administration is preventing law enforcement from arresting lawbreakers?

The author should be fired immediately.

The newspaper should be boycotted.

Stupid gone to seed.

I can’t believe he’s still perpetuating the myth that the cartels get their weapons from US gun stores.

While children have walked hundreds of miles...

I don't believe that at all. They were bussed to the border by somebody.
And how exactly will "immigration reform" and gun control solve all this?

I read:

If we could get rid of all the guns and grow our own pot, illegal aliens would stop coming to the US for the government benefits and hand-outs.

This all seems to make sense. The very people who support free drug use are the ones wanting an open border.

The conservatives who don't use drugs are also the people that want our borders to be kept secure.

An invasion, planned and coordinated by the c urrent regime ruling America, and the in-need-of-execution media dutifully portray it as anything but an invasion planned and coordinated by the Obamaroid regime. ... And folks will someday ask, ‘What happened to the America I knew?’

Good points all.

Speaking of guns in central america, last time I looked, I did not see many if any ARs in the hands of the antis and drug cartel people. I did see a bunch of cheap AKs though. Now, is one to assume they came from the US, except for those Barry sent them, or did they come from somewhere else? Final Jeopardy answer: elsewhere like Cuba, Venezuela, Chicom land or Ruskie land would be my response.

If nothing else it shows a vast ignorance of economics. The drug lords probably have a “Yuri Orlov” knocking on their door every day and sending them a case of Scotch at Christmas.

“These Central American states are failures.”

That’s his point. According to him they are failures because it’s our fault.

This is simply Communist Rehash from the sixties.

The bad Americans then were corporations like United Fruit and Dole. The argument was that they caused all of the problems because they were in bed with tinpot dictators whose regimes were “oppressing” the people.

So it became our fault because Americans ate Central American fruit.

Move it ahead fifty years and the business changes to drugs.

Now the argument is that Americans like drugs, therefore Americans support the narco gangs that have replaced the tinpot dictators. Therefore, it’s the Americans fault.

There truly is nothing new under the sun.
