Vowing to once again go around the mainstream media's filter like she did with her pioneering use Twitter and Facebook after the 2008 presidential election, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin launched her own member-supported digital TV channel on Sunday evening. ....
In a "Sarah Says" video that is featured on the site, Palin says the tragic downing of the Malaysian Airlines plane has "shifted the balance of world opinion against Vladimir Putin" since "there is a lot of evidence pointing to pro-Russian separatists" as being responsible for the "thoughtless massacre." She said that Putin, though, still holds "oil and gas prices over the heads of those" who are dependent on Russia's resources even as he is trying to distance himself from the separatists. Palin noted that Putin uses his energy resources essentially "as a weapon" against Europeans who are afraid to cross him. Palin said American needed to curb Russian power by developing its own resources and diluting Russia's. She said America could be a "natural gas exporter" if the government got serious about development.
Palin also said the Ukraine situation did not have to "escalate" because "a good leader steers world events" instead of merely going with the wind and responding to one crisis after another. She President Barack Obama is merely "reacting" to world events, which is dangerous in a world with bullies and tyrants intent on doing harm.
"America, you deserve better," Palin says of Obama.
During the 2008 presidential election, Palin was mocked for warning that Putin would invade Ukraine if Obama were elected.

Funding by ad or paywall each have their advantages and disadvantages. How much is your time worth to you? How many minutes of advertising would you tolerate, before you used up $9.90 worth of your time? By doing without ads, she won’t be beholding to sponsors (except for her viewer-sponsors). It’s a certain bet that, if she used advertisers, leftist organizations would be organizing boycotts, to get the advertising pulled. There’s plenty of precedent.
The proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the pudding. If her “channel” becomes financially sustainable behind a paywall, then that will prove the paywall works. If not — then you will be justified in posting a “told ya so”, when it shuts down.
Liberals across the land now have something new to be outraged about. They will try to divert attention away from Obumbles latest antics and idiotic public statements. I hope Sarah has media savy people she. can trust helping her to keep the website from being hacked or flooded by a vulgar torrent of lib hate. They need to be ready to edit incoming videos, and reject them if need be. Watch and see other political talkers follow her lead. Look out Glen Beck, guess who just became your virtual neighbor?
Will she have other hosts besides herself? It would make sense to have many likeminded hosts. I guess she remains on the Sportsmans Channel as well. Busy Lady.This would be a perfect opportunity for Bristol to get some hosting experience. Will Papa John McCain be dropping by for a spot of tea? Sarah has surprised me by this move. I’m surprised the news didn’t leak in news circles.
Every good sized town needs a good sized zoo, aquarium and botany exhibit. Astronomy Constelation Domes are important too.
Netflix is a subscription service and Free Republic asks for voluntary donations. So she is doing what Netflix does: pay for content with no ads.

Hey, she has spoken to the group who has given Beck the chance for his network. And the the Big Oprah began hers just this month. Sarah rocks and this just might be her gig. The left must be knocking their knees at this time. All we should be concerned about is that if the Conservatives get this done, there is the possibility O-the-dick-tater would come out with his own network...just to keep his face front and center. He and his mate could show 24/7 photos and videos of the life, times, and lies of a former idol. Imagine photos and videos of foreign vacays, non stop fundraising, perhaps even a visit to his home town in Kenya or where ever. Might include the message of ‘transforming America and other socialist propaganda.

The downside of Sarah’s subscription site is she will be “singing to the choir”.
The masses that need to hear her message will not get that opportunity.
Certainly a free, ad-based site would be more beneficial in getting her message out to those who need to hear it.
