Israel tries to exempt enemy civilians from the war while the Mohammedans try to get as many of their own civilians killed as possible. Things are definitely not in balance here.

For every violation of Israel’s sovereignty, they should permanently take a 10 meter strip from West to East of Gaza from the North. Squeeze the remaining population Southward, until they use the tunnels to flee into Egypt.

That is why the call it ‘asymmetric warfare.’
Hamas is fighting in the news media and on YouTube and doing pretty well. Casualties actually help them - the more dead bodies they can post on YouTube, the better they will do.
When the IDF leaves Gaza Hamas will claim victory by the dint of their continued existence in Gaza.
I am sure the Israelis understand this better than I do, but, IMHO, by trying to fight Hamas for public opinion, they fight against their enemy’s strength and weaken themselves in other arenas.
