I used to ride with my dad to the local creamery to unload raw milk,, oh man, curd, whey, its was fun to watch the machinery that sucked it up.. And spit it out,, in dried milk, cottage cheese,hand milk for local stores..
We used to go to a small town to visit my grandmother. Since grandma was not very child friendly we would hang out for the minimum expected time and then walk to my aunt and uncle's place on a lake about two miles away. A creamery was on the way and when you would get the first whiff you would began to hold you breath and try to run to the other side of the smell zone.
