Photograph: Dave M Benett/WireImage A group of Spain's biggest film personalities, including Penélope Cruz, Pedro Almodóvar and Javier Bardem, have written an open letter in a Spanish newspaper denouncing Israel's bombing of Gaza.
The letter calls for the EU to "condemn the bombing by land, sea and air against the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip... Gaza is living through horror these days, besieged and attacked by land, sea and air. Palestinians' homes are being destroyed, they are being denied water, electricity [and] free movement to their hospitals, schools and fields while the international community does nothing."
They lamented the "physical, moral, psychological" effect that the attacks are having on the people of Gaza, and also called for an end to the Israeli blockade that restricts what can be taken across the Gaza border.

Funny how they don’t condemn ISIS for slaughtering Christians in Iraq and now apparently also in India..they don’t condemn Boko Haram for slaughtering men, women, and children by burning them alive..and how about those Nigerian girls, guess no one cares about them anymore..yet when Israel defends herself, you see these no name morons who are desperate for some fans coming out of the woodwork to bash Israel. A generation of adults don’t seem to realize/know that the Nazi’s in WWII had great friends in the oil fields of the Ukraine. USA bombers were lost trying to take out the supply of oil. Nazis like Soros were involved in the war then and are involved there now. It seems like the USA cannot get unhitched from evils such as communism and/or fascism.
