It's not right that a small group of people can make up rules that everyone else must follow, with no dialog or feedback whatsoever.
We are supposed to have representation in government but I don't recall electing anyone in EPA.

Not to invoke Godwin’s Law early, but one of the first key moves Hitler made was the passage of the Enabling Law, which pretty much delegated lawmaking authority to the Chancellor, making him a legitimitized dictator.

The EPA, and ACA regulations are chock full of “enabling powers” for various appointees.

There should be a limit on the reach and cost of any laws that are indirect, in the sense that they are executed with significant discretionary power.
