f the Modern Liberal is in fact as stupid as I believe him to be, then how is one to explain the fact that so many Liberals rise to the very pinnacle of their professions? If Nancy Pelosi is stupid, how did she become the Speaker of the House of Representatives? If Katie Couric is stupid, how did she become the most recent recipient of the Walter Cronkite award for excellence in television journalism. If Henry Gates and Ward Churchill are stupid, how did they become tenured professors? In this short video, I explain the otherwise

Lawsuits, intimidation and nepotism?

I used to be friends with a bunch of IRS agents. One day we began discussing how certain people got rich while others did not.
To put it as simply as possible, intelligence, as long as they had walking around sense did not seem to matter. Some other characteristics were they were very hard workers, were risk takers and often just plain lucky.
Also most of them were crooked but not when dealing with the public or their business associates.
Bribes, lies and thuggery?
However, I'm inclined to believe that liberal politicians deceitfully take advantange of low information voters, voters who have never been taught about the federal government's constitutionally limited powers, by doing the following.
Liberal politicians promise low-information voters constitutionally indefensible federal spending programs and constitutionally indefensible federal civil rights. Then, once liberal politicians have been elected, they lay constitutionally indefensible taxes on the middle class, laughing all the way to the bank.
Rhymes with snow-jobs?
The answer to this is quite simple: liberals reward each other with Nobel, Pulitzer Prizes, tenure, contracts, grants, promotions, awards, exhibitions, publications, etc. They have their “libdar” constantly on alert and can detect others like themselves and also those who aren’t instantly. It is like a sort of collective intellectual inbreeding. For example: if you are a scientist doing research critical of climate change, good luck with getting a grant; if you are a conservative college professor, good luck with your promotion, etc.
I see we’re on the same wavelength here.

I’m with you on that one. TV production land showed me all to well.
When I was a lot younger I used to be really impressed with awards given out to various people for the arts or things they supposedly did for the good of humanity. As I got older I realized how many of these awards and honors were politically driven. To the point of now I can’t take the word of anybody or any group that identifies as liberal. Liberals cannot divorce themselves from their political beliefs.
I had a friend in Grad School who was a Communist. He was unusual in a couple of ways. He was against gun control and he would freely admit what they were doing.
One day he said the Communist movement was an unorganized conspiracy. That sounds like a contradiction in terms but I knew exactly what he meant.
I am, in fact, a longtime Freeper, though I don’t tend to post a lot. (I do reply though.)

We believe in the founding principles with all our hearts and mean to defend them to our dying breath..."
