There are already several promising antivirals, one of which is in clinical studies right now as an anti-influenza drug, that have shown effectiveness against ebola.
This is about using a level 4 containment facility that’s there and needs to be used or funding will dry up. And all the subsequent publications the practicing docs will get for years to come. Nothing more.
