I don’t think that it is feasible to ask that ALL illegals be deported, but I do think that the recent illegals should all be deported.

What I would like to see is voter ID that is not connected to motor voter. Special drivers’ licenses for people who lack proper identification (birth certificate), that would be accompanied by a prepaid insurance policy. The special driver’s license would be accompanied by a full set of fingerprints so that the person without proper ID could not simply change his name whenever he got into trouble.

The driver’s license with fingerprints would also help prevent id theft.

That will certainly send a message to the foreign nationals who are currently weighing whether or not to illegally set up shop in the United States.

Of course the message is “if I stay there long enough they won’t bother deporting me” which is the same message that the amnesty crowd has been sending them for years.

When you won’t deport illegal aliens back to their own country you are giving them defacto amnesty. It doesn’t matter how long they have been here.
