Resident Rovenky:

Dissent beaten, humiliated. Can and shoot

I remember first ATU Rovenky residents blocked the road and did not allow Ukrainian military convoy. Journalist Roman Bocskai had written "the Ukraine military/junta, like the Nazis came to kill us."

Four months have passed. And now "militia" [terrorists] are called the Nazis. But not aloud - for if you dissent then you can lose life. Rovenky residents flee the city. About that, "Our lives have turned into a nightmare!" said one local resident, who asked not to be named.

"We can easily be taken to the "commander" for nothing. In the city, everything is decided by terrorists. The other day one guy spent four days in the basement (without food) on suspicion arson of rented wheat fields. Vehicles are taken "squeeze" from the people... if not given "offenders" are forced to dig trenches or dig graves for "200-years." Dissenters are beaten, humiliated ... and can be shot. State agencies, including law enforcement, do not work. The "liberators" rule: commandant Reznikov (newcomer from South Ossetia) and the head of the militia rope. They sit in the mayor's office, over which no longer exist the Ukrainian flag, and become office recruiting into the service," says the man

In the city there are many contraband — cigarettes from Russia and Belarus, groceries, products. Prices are high — 80-100 pork UAH/kg, fat is 100-150 UAH/kg, tomatoes — 8 UAH/kg, water, carbonated and non-carbonated for 5-7 UAH. one and a half liter, potatoes 7-8 USD/kg, flour (2 kg Pack was in the ATB for 15 UAH), and on the market of 25 UAH. People are very angry. In the private sector on the street. Shchorsa terrorists set installation the GRAD school. Residents of nearby streets went for talks, but the outcome is sad. Not removed.

"Since July 26, there is a ban on the movement of private cars in the city. Curfew from 23:00 to 6:00. "Commandant" driving around in selected foreign cars. Yes, and notice that most terrorists have new Kalashnikovs of different models. There is no scratches even on the shank or the butt. And somehow with all this life goes on. Working mostly of miners in four shifts. Mine concession Akhmetov. They [terrorists] do not touch them [miners.] Although the 'militias' dislike miners for the fact that they do not go hard to their side. Of course, a lot of people moved out of the city. And those who could not do this are now hostage. We can not confront these thugs that are armed to the teeth. Every day we pray and look forward to the speedy arrival of the Ukrainian military, "- says a local resident.
