'.... Trends in American capitalism are creating more frustration and cynicism. Income equality is worsening; children, growing numbers of poor children, are disproportionately bearing the brunt of this shift of wealth. How many of their lives will be taken by the street, by prison? ...'

Considering that Mr McGreevey was a life-long politician before his fall from ‘Grace’ and then an academic, his encounters with ‘Capitalism’ have been generally to get as much money from businesses as he could. From his personal history, he is a man of situational ethics and I regard his conclusions as suspect at the very least!

McGreevey’s not happy that he can no longer cruise the New Jersey interstate’s rest rooms looking for anonymous homosexual sex trysts on the taxpayer’s dime. Paying your own money is upsetting. What a bummer. This article is a steaming pile.

The conclusions sound suspiciously like the beginnings of a run for office.

“In seminary, I chose to work with ex-offenders; they after all had committed acts worse than I did. “

How do we know what he did, but didn’t get CAUGHT doing?

Did he really say that? That’s is one of the most condescending things I’ve ever heard.

I’m sure many of them did do worse things than McGreevey. I guess he never killed anyone.

But how about that “we’re all sinners” attitude?

I don’t think you’re supposed to work with the incarcerated, or ex-offenders, to make yourself feel better about your own failings because they did things worse than you did.

Oy veh.

The McGreevy farce showed how totally unprincipled Democrat pols and voters are.

The guy was caught putting his unqualified partner in perversion into a highly sensitive and influential position.

Then got away with saying he would “resign immediately”— at the end of his term!

And the “rats didn’t lift a finger to stop him.

Just my opinion, of course.
