Internal investigators have already dismissed most complaints of civil rights violations against federal agents handling the surge of illegal immigrant children on the border, the Homeland Security Department inspector general said in a new report Thursday that details near-heroic efforts agents and officers are making.

In its first report since the surge, the inspector general said agents have contracted everything from scabies and lice to chickenpox, including bringing the disease home to their own children, as they care for the unaccompanied minors. Investigators also said they saw instances of agents and officers spending their own money to buy toys, clothing and food for children and families.

The investigators said some illegal immigrants’ “unfamiliarity with bathroom facilities resulted in unsanitary conditions and exposure to

Just think; millions and millions of these illiterate, disease bearing criminal invaders sneaking into America who will never improve, never assimilate and they and their descendants will suck us dry until we are no better than the h*llholes they came from.

My SIL and nieces are from India, and the notion of TP freaks them out.

I am to understand that much depends on what part of India one is from, what social caste one belongs to and their level of education.

I have a co-worker who is from India, from Southern India and she has only been here since the early 2000’s. She is fastidiously clean. So much so to the point that she has complained after our company cut back on janitorial services from daily to 2 times a week, complaining the woman’s restroom was not being kept clean enough and complaining that one day the stalls were close to running out of TP but her big complaint was they had run out of those flushable seat liners. I’ve been in the women’s restroom at the same time as she and watched her hand washing – very thorough and better than a number of native born American women I’ve observed. She also went completely ballistic one day when she went to use one of the stalls and found that someone had left blood, presumably menstrual blood on the toilet seat saying how disgusting that was and how inexcusable it was.

She works with me in HR and is a benefits manager but has a degree in electrical engineering she got in India. She is extremely bright and while she has an Indian accent, is not difficult to understand as she speaks perfect English, more like the Queen’s English to be precise. And she is quite Americanized. She dresses not in traditional Indian clothing but in western clothing and dresses very well and smartly. In many ways she’s the typical American soccer mom, freaking out about things like her teenage daughter learning to drive and getting ready to go off to college next year.

I recall not long ago we had some really severe thunderstorms and she was left without power for two days and didn’t come to work those two days because she was unable to take a hot shower and blow dry her hair.

We don't need these kinds of people in this country. Above all, we should be the ones who decided who enters this country, not have some Banana Republic or human traffickers dictate to us. And the criteria should be that immigrants are compatible with our values and will contribute to this society, not drain our resources.

re: bathroom practices: muslims among the crowd may be using their hand to wipe, and then use wet papertowels to wipe the feces off their hands, discarding towels in the trash before final handwashing.

SIL an the nieces think TP is not hygienic enough.

So what would they prefer to use? Soapy washcloths or a bidet?

I was almost in shock when I witnessed this personally. Imagine my first girlfriend in South Florida not a year from arriving in America. One morning we wake up and share the bathroom sink. This gorgeous vision of long black hair and deep copper skin places her finger over one nose and blows out the other all over the sink. My illusions were shattered forever...lol!

“Uhm, honey...we use these white tissue papers here for that...” /HURL...

I don’t think I concealed the look of horror on my face very well. However, she never did it again at least in front of me.

These children - and many are not children - should be deported quickly for humanitarian reasons. They should not received any perks or welfare.

None of the illegal aliens should receive benefits such as drivers licenses. These invaders should not even be in this country. Yet this Tuesday, for example, a panel at noon at the Des Moines library is set to discuss giving "undocumented immigrants" licenses. Instead, they should be discussing how to deport them.

Clinton brought the Somolians over here

That is part of the reason Al Franken is a senator today. With a few million illegal immigrants plus amnesty and a little Gerrymandering can you imaging what Congress will look like in 10 years?

look for an exodus of teachers who didn't sign up for a job like this

The AFT and the NEA will be all-in for this. They'll demand more teachers, more special programs, language interpreters, life skill coaches etc. Most teachers, when they see job security and additional money for doing extra federal programs will be thrilled.

I guess that would explain the “pile” left on the ladies fitting room floor at Wal-Mart...NEVER take your shoes off ladies when trying on clothes...no telling what was on that floor!

at work we share a floor with outsourced customer service people. Someone insists on putting paper towels in the commode. I have to call facilities at least once a week or try to flush it down. and this is in a high rise office complex.
