On Sunday, August 3, a panel discussion on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace broke out into a heated debate over whether or not opposition to President Obamas policies had racial undertones. Juan Williams, former NPR reporter and current Fox News contributor, argued that "the Republican Party has become almost a completely white party."
For his part, Michael Needham, CEO of Heritage Action sharply criticized Williams and insisted "youre demonizing good people who are concerned about a president whos completely out of control." [See video below.]
The debate between Needham and Williams began with moderator Chris Wallace asking Williams "do you think that the Republican opposition to this president, you heard Hakeem Jeffries talk about hatred, is racial or do you think it is based on principles and policies?" The former NPR reporter immediately used Wallaces questioning as a jumping off point to attack conservatives as having a racial bias against President Obama:
If you look at the core constituency, the people who are in lets say Tea Party opposition support of impeachment there's no diversity. It's a white older group of people.
Michael Needham took great offense to the liberal Fox News contributors argument and shot back:
Chris, if you were to open up your dictionary to the word irony, you would find Juan Williams in there claiming I'm demonizing people because Im saying that the President of the United States is lawless which by the way the Supreme Court agreed with by a 9-0..
Needham continued to condemn Williams' attack on conservatives:
You think theres any racial element to the impeachment thing? That's a ridiculous ironic statement. You're the one demonizing people who are concerned about the fact that we have a crisis of the constitution. With Jonathan Turley a liberal law professor, just testified

Perhaps Minnie the Mooch has been beating him again. Look closely, see any blue mixed in with that black?
No blue, lol, but he is much darker now. It’s curious.
All that is beside the point!
I am damn sick and tired of the LIEberal LIEs being spread — a lot of low information voters take their cues FRom assholes like Juan Williams, and the sooner they are out of the spotlight, the better, IMHO!
PS. I don’t want “Fair and Balanced!”
I want an “All Conservative, All Constitutional, All The Time!” TV channel!
Who cares?
And, why should I?
They probably don’t; my point was that having any non-Europeans voting Republican is terrifying for Democrats. They are afraid non-white makers might join the Republicans, rather than joining the non-white takers that serve as the useful idiots of the Democratic Party.
“PS. I dont want Fair and Balanced! I want an All Conservative, All Constitutional, All The Time! TV channel!”
LOL, I feel your pain! But preaching to the choir only, serves no useful purpose. We want converts to the Conservative cause. Have you noticed that Liberals such as Juan seem to constantly scream and berate their opponent? That’s because Liberals have no rational views to Conservative ones. And, this becomes obvious when they’re debating on TV. Who knows, maybe we will get some converts. You and I are already Conservative Believers. The objective should be to expand our base - by thoughtful logic - don’t you agree?
You are, of course, correct.
The great Derb maintains that functionally there are only two races in this country, black and non-black.
I do not know if he’s right, but I do know the Left has for decades attempted to invert this into there being two functional races, white and “people of color,” a nonsensical term that is actually insulting to non-whites, as it implies the most important thing about them is something that they are not.
Of course, they expand their coalition by making gays, lesbians, angry feminists, atheists, pagans, wiccans, trannies, etc. honorary people of color, with the goal of isolating the shrinking number of straight white Christians as the enemy.
Outreach to LIEberals is important, but how to do that?
Is paying the Juan Williams of the world to show their ignorance on National TV a way to get converts?
Or is presenting the Conservative view 24/7 a better way?
Even better, while presenting the Conservative view, would be trashing the LIEberal view.
I don’t know the answer, but I’ll tell you that I no longer watch the news because the LIEberal talking heads drive me nuts!
Screw Fair And Balanced! I want the Conservative viewpoint to receive maximum exposure
My theory is that if the logic, reason and common sense approach Conservatives take to organizing their affairs doesn’t convince LIEberals that we have a better idea, then we are doomed anyway.
It is fer shure, fer shure that “Fair and Balanced” is not gaining us converts.
“Of course, they expand their coalition by making gays, lesbians, angry feminists, atheists, pagans, wiccans, trannies, etc. honorary people of color, with the goal of isolating the shrinking number of straight white Christians as the enemy.”
Just by winning women they give all of the freak show an outsized voice; white women are their single most important constituency (by numbers).
