I think that's what pisses me off the most ... I'm forced, by the nature of my intelligence and knowledge of what is happening in America, to be ever watchful, reactive to unnecessary outside intrusion,and just plain on edge, waiting for some OTHER idiot action from the gummint.
The tenseness of and in my life USED TO BE because I had to go to work and work with assholes. NOW it's getting up and reading the news
THAT'S the dynamic shift (or whatever it's called) in modern America.
It's not the job, our crappy car we need to keep going, our nagging wife or lazy husband that we experience the tension from ... it's the government and what it's doing to us immediately ... and what we perceive what may come down the pike in the future ...
