Check out this video, which really says it all about the lawless state of our border under Barack Obama.

It was filmed by trucker, Travis Pope, using iCam video glasses at a US Border Patrol checkpoint in Texas.

You do have to wonder why the border guards are there at all. When I was in Mexico the most watched cable channel was the one with cameras on the entrance gates to the US. A note above each gate told the average time and periodically an announcer would mention that they’d started checking cars at a gate and to go onto another gate to avoid delays.

In case you’re at work, here is the transcript of their brief “conversation”: Border Patrol agent: How you doing, U.S. Border Patrol. How many people on board? Travis Pope: Me. BP agent: U.S. citizen? Pope: Yeah, but does it really matter? BP agent: Not anymore, unfortunately. Thank you. No wonder morale is reportedly at an all-time low among our Customs and Border Patrol and ICE agents.

That checkpoint looks a lot like the checkpoint just east of Dateland AZ. I go through there 4 times a month. It’s set close to the off ramp to Spot Road on I-8.
