A senior administration official said that the humanitarian effort would continue as needed, and that he expected further airdrops. “We expect that need to continue,” he said.

The BBC announced today that the UK will also be airdropping food and water.

I did read the article. I was merely noting that 8,000 MRE’s per day for 40,000 people isn’t sufficient. If they ramp it up every day or if the UK is airdropping more (as you pointed out), then they’ll be fine.
