Not even the GOP talks about tax reform anymore.
Even though a promise of reduced rates would guarantee a sweep in November.

Whats wrong here is that “only” the Congress has the power to tax.

<>This week, Senators Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Richard Durbin of Illinois were urging Obama to take the gloves off to “use your authority to reduce or eliminate tax breaks” <>
So Turban Durbin and the Indian Princess would endow Obama with the Divine Right of Kings to determine who and what was taxed and for how much. Charles I of England was executed in 1649 for similar fantasies.
Our framers gave congress peaceful means, the impeachment and conviction power to deal with such men.

In engineering and other disciplines there is a concept called "negative feedback" which can be defined as; "Feedback that reduces the output of a system." In this case the system is tax proceeds and the Administration is not getting all that it wants. Obama and his friends will accept a tax 'reform' BUT only if it increases overall tax income WITHOUT ANY cuts to 'Big Government'!
