"Governor Brownback's administration took prompt action in 2011 to adopt new disclosure policies and procedures and to include the relevant KPERS information in the CAFR (comprehensive annual financial report)," Kansas Secretary of Administration Jim Clark said in a statement. "The SEC has considered these changes and we are pleased that the SEC did not seek any financial penalties or make any claims of intentional misconduct based on the actions of former administrations. We remain committed to complying with all disclosure requirements and require training and updating of the policies and procedures annually."

“But Kansas is in the Big 12. What has it got to do with the SEC?”

It is getting to be that time of the year. The “damn “yankee” chancellor at “Ole Miss”,also known as THE University of Mississippi, wants to drop the “racist” name “Ole Miss”. He also wants to change the name of the lane that goes to the Confederate Cemetery, behind the old Civil War hospital that’s on campus, from Confederate Lane. No respect for tradition, history or the dead.

Actually, for her second string replacement, Parkinson. According to the article the fraudulent bond offerings took place while he was keeping the Governor’s chair warm for Gov. Brownback after Sebelius took off to DC to ruin the nation’s health insurance system.

The fact that the SEC found fault with Sebelius is significant.

Does that mean they're unhappy with her for some reason?

What's the Matter with Kansas?

It's too damn Conservative, that's what. But the Obama administration will show them what that entails.

When I first scanned the headline, I thought that it was the SEC football conference.

Sebelius appointed Duane Gossen, the financial guy in charge of the “fraud” here.
Sebelius also appointed her Lt. Gov., Mark Parkinson, who became Gov when Sebelius went to work on Obamacare.
