Government action against an armed rebellion is more than slightly different from cold, calculated, deliberate, systemic, and brutal slaughter by a government of millions of its own innocent citizens in a time of peace as a matter of course.
America is an incredibly exceptional country. If you are looking for perfection this side of Heaven, then join the Socialists who screw 90% of what’s good to supposedly “fix” the 10% they think isn’t “perfect.”
Please don’t tell me about being patriotic and loving America.
But I’m telling the truth and the imperfections. You simply asked for examples of government suppression, you got it.
And you don’t seem to get the difference between “armed rebellion” and citizens of those regions excercising either daily lives or being involved in local government. None of these people were militia or any kind of armed rebels acting against their country in any actual act of war. No, the country ASSUMED they would act against them and so drew the guns on them and for those politicians who seemed “threatening”, they threw them in Ft. McHenry.
