That “real world” will be the fact that most average citizens will no longer be able to afford the homes they own due to the large property tax bill due each year. Worse yet, if the home is not paid for, through in the mortgage payment and the yearly maintenance expenses.

If you think the free nanny state is bad here then go to France. Mr. GG2’s daughter is married to a Frenchman and they live in France with their small children. Everything is paid for from cradle to grave for those kids. When you go into the hospital to have a baby its 5 days but if you don’t quite feel up to going home you can just extend it to 7 days.
