Ok so I guess the question still remains, why did the new bf(Bailey) get booked if he had nothing to do with it?
From my viewing of police dramas, I’d say the current bf was arrested because the romantic partner or spouse is an obvious suspect in a murder. When he was either cleared by the eyewitness or presented an alibi, he was released.
He should have been booked for crimes against nature, if nothing else.
