Our tomatoes are just turning red. I should say some of our tomatoes are starting to turn reddish. It’s been too cold this summer, I think. I’ll bet that you are going to be so happy this winter that you canned some of yours.

We’ve been eating ours as fast as we can, lol. In salads, on burgers, just plain sliced ones as a side item. When we realized we couldn’t keep up, that’s when we decided to can some. Only have 3 quarts and 6 pints so far, but at least we put a dent in the huge pile that had been on the kitchen bar. ;)
