On Fox News, legal analyst Annemarie McAvoy made the same point: “The victim knew, if it was in fact him, that he’d just committed a robbery, may have assumed that he was going to be arrested and essentially tried to resist before he gets arrested.”

Policeman didn’t know, but deceased did know that he’d just shoplifted some cigars and pushed a clerk.

The truth is a defense. You can’t assassinate the character of someone who has none.

The title says it all. Police are always at a disadvantage when contacting people on the street. You don’t know who they are or what they’ve done, but they do. I know that goes against what the JBT group thinks.

“The officer didn’t know about the robbery in the store when he stopped Michael Brown, but Michael Brown knew about the robbery, and Michael Brown … thought that he was being apprehended for robbery, and therefore when the officer tried to put him in the car for not being cooperative or whatever his reasoning was, Brown immediately started to struggle because he thought he was going down on a robbery in the second-degree,” Callan said.

the officer tried to put him in the car for not being cooperative or whatever his reasoning was

*********************************

Just sayin’ ..... Brown knew he’d done something wrong & everyone can argue how serious that was ... some say shoplifting, some say robbery, doesn’t matter, really. He knew he’d done something wrong and a policeman was talking to him & generally in those circumstances, behavior isn’t that of a totally innocent person. Perhaps he broke into a sweat, wouldn’t look at the officer, got belligerent, who knows. He might have had the Swisher Sweets on him at that point, too - evidence of his robbery. I would bet money this policeman’s “spidey sense” (6 year veteran) was going off that something wasn’t right with this kid as evidenced by the way he was acting .... it would not be unheard of for him to put MB in his car until he figured out what was going on. The robbery & the shooting ARE totally related, IMO ... even if the cop didn’t know ... MB did. I think the cop was in more danger at that point than MB because he didn’t know what he was dealing with .... certainly wasn’t an “innocent child” who had nothing to hide & no motive to ‘break bad’ if he thought evidence might be found and/or he might be arrested.

He and his buddy were probably on an adrenalene high and swaggering down the street in a manner that called attention of the police to them. Were they high on something else? Has the toxicology report been released? Still not deserving a death penalty. Why were so many shots fired, 8 or 9 if I recall reports correctly?

What time did the shooting take place and what time did the call go out about the convenience store robbery?

I watched long video of the guy who was with Brown.

Aside from the fact that for 20 minutes, Brown is called “n*gger” and the officer is called “M***** F*****”

This guy claimed that Brown was on his knees and the officer shot him point blank as Brown begged for mercy, then shot Brown 4 more times on the ground, and then reloaded and shot brown 4 more times. Also denied Brown robbed the store.

Unless the autopsy shows 9 shots as described, I don’t think the guy has much credibility.

So how many people are the “black community” and the media going to turn into false martyrs?

Tawana Brawley, Rodney King, OJ Simpson, the duke lacrosse stripper, Trayvon Martin, and now Brown

How many more of these charades is it going to take before people finally wake up and say FU media FU race industry—Its not the cops, its black culture and they way it fosters, enocourages and enables violent criminal behavior that is the real source of all this.

That’s the problem with these punks. They aren’t bright enough to appear unassuming. Instead, they bring attention to themselves by walking down the middle of the street, knowing full well there may be cops in the area because of the robbery they just pulled. I worked in uniform behind the walls and fences of maximum and medium security prisons in NY State for 25 years. We had a saying amongst the officers, “They’re not in here because they’re smart.”

My limited knowledge of case law, very limited, leads me to believe that if the cop cannot demonstrate Imminent Threat, he's a candidate for Murder II.

Anyone know otherwise?

floating on FACEBOOk... (this is a copy I did not write this but early reports match up to this)

"Darren is a good man and he shot and killed Michael in self defense. After he told the young adults to get out of the street, they refused and there was a heated verbal exchange, Darren rolled ahead and pulled over and watched the two. He noticed they fit the description of two people involved in a strong armed robbery nearby that had just been called in and also looked like they may have had the stolen merchandise on them. He reversed his vehicle back to where they where to question them. When he tried to get out of his car, Michael slammed the car door back closed with his body. Upon attempting to exit his vehicle, Darren was bum rushed by Michael Brown, shoved back into the front seat of his car, punched in his face a few times and then had to fight Michael over posession of his gun. The gun was literally turned against Darren's body for a moment. During the struggle, his gun went off and then the 280 pound, 6'3" "child" took off with his friend. When the officer got out of his car and drew his gun and yelled freeze you're under arrest, Michael turned, taunting him, yelling from about 35 feet away, "what, you gonna shoot me?" and then abruptly charged the officer again. The officer unloaded on the huge YOUNG adult as he continued storming towards him until finally, he was able to stop him by shooting him in the head right when he was almost to him and his weapon.

Imagine the adrenaline pumping after almost being shot in his police car and then this same large guy is sprinting at you. He thought that Michael must have been on something the way he just kept coming despite being shot many times. Hopefully, toxicology will confirm this suspicion. These are the facts-but if nothing else I beg that you at least consider these as the other side of the story. I've heard several witnesses that must keep quiet in case they are needed in court have confirmed this story and had the SAME version of events. All other "witnesses" stories have all been inconsistent with one another, some claiming he was down on his knees, others that he was running away.

The truth above is the only consistent story there has been because of course, there can be only one version of the truth. I believe in my heart for it to be factually true because I know someone very well who was there. Please spread the truth. I am begging you to at least put this out as a possibility since we have ONLY heard the other's side. It explains all of the questions and it's what I was told on Sunday morning, before everyone was silenced. Please pray for Darren who was only doing his job and trying to stay alive. Or at least, please consider this as a possibility...even just a theory. I'm telling you, eventually it will all come out. This is the truth. Spread it!"

I didn't write that but I will push it forward, it's the only aspect that's made ANY sense and been consistent with every report.

So this shows that Wilson knew nothing about the robbery and Brown did because he committed the robbery. Was Brown agitated? Do you know how many cops have died when they pull over a car at a traffic stop and the persons inside the car have just committed a crime but the cop doesn’t know that they committed a crime? The assailants/robbers think that the cop making a traffic stop knows.

yes! and so far i have heard two African-American commentators and an African-American reporter say that since the officer did not know MB was a suspect, there was no reason to show the video! haha! talk about BIAS... it does make a difference--as the whole robbery incident might have determined how MB reacted to the officer...

one African-American reporter on CNN even had the nerve to say he could not tell from the video whether anything wrong happened... to him it looked like MB simply bought the cigs and lightly shoved the clerk at the doorway... the talking head did not buy it... she said something like, "well, something happened that made the clerk call the cops..."

We call stealing and while assaulting someone robbery....strong arm robbery in these parts....a felony. In fact theft from a person..pickpocketting for example..is also a felony.

Hmmm. Any reports on how may shots were fired in total? Depending on what caliber and model sidearm are they are issued, they could have up to 17 rounds per magazine?

“Anyone know otherwise? “

I really don’t know, but in Holder’s America you can “perceive” injury so maybe you can perceive being in imminent danger and not have to prove anything at all.

Daryl Parks, an attorney for the Brown family, confirmed that the security footage “appears to look like” the teenager, but accused the police chief of “strategically” releasing the video to “assassinate the character of Michael Brown.”Hahahaha. So the evidence show these thugs weren't as sweet and innocent as the rioters would have us believe and all of a sudden it is character assassination.
