Reuters) - Ukrainian rebels are receiving new armoured vehicles and fighters trained in Russia, with which they plan to launch a major counter-offensive against government forces, a separatist leader said in a video released on Saturday.
The four-month conflict in eastern Ukraine has reached a critical phase, with Kiev and Western governments watching nervously to see if Russia will intervene in support of the increasingly besieged rebels - an intention Moscow denies.
Alexander Zakharchenko, prime minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, said the rebels were in the process of receiving some 150 armoured vehicles, including 30 tanks, and 1,200 fighters who he said had spent four months training in Russia.

Uhhhh....wouldn’t they want it to be a surprise?
Putin’s not dealing with the smartest misfits in the barrel. Remember just recently his own troops were breaking OPSEC by posting on social media the things they were doing in Ukraine and what they were shooting into Ukraine. Also, the Putinista proxies who shot down the civilian plane posted that they’d done it immediately afterward.
So Ukraine knows they will be crossing the border. Bomb the hell out of them. Destroy the entire movement including the troops. If not then prepare to lose your Country to the communists thug empire of Russia.
It seems as if the cunning of the Soviets is infinitely dangerous, but then, somewhere along the line, some drunky or dufus messes up their plot in some way.

The problem with aerial assaults seems to be that every time Ukraine puts a plane up, the “Russians” shoot it down. Very good air defenses over the Donbass region...
I watched several videos and saw photos of what is claimed to be Russian armor moving toward the Ukraine border. Some lowboys were hauling T-90 tanks. Not T-72s as one would think. I do not feel Ukraine could sustain such and assault.
Several BBC reporters have said that they personally saw Russian heavy equipment moving toward the Ukrainian border within the last few days.
See, he is just saying what was being denied a little while ago by the Russians
