I have a Glock 26 9mm, though I usually carry a mouse gun (Keltec p-32) because of weight and size.

I think a 9mm would do fine if you emptied your mag into a guy.

There have been some reports that the final shot hit the perp in the forehead. My mouse gun would work fine in such a shot.
