When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to assume that their president, hostile to the principles that formed the nation and determined to act with malice toward its inhabitants by suppressing their rights and enabling its enemies to prosper in their attempts to destroy it, must be confronted, a rational response for the nation is to encumber itself no more with such a president and reject his authority and the acolytes who carry out his wishes.

The sufferance of these United States impels action to ensure the existence of the nation. The history of the present president is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good. He has forbidden his minions to be charged with crimes both high and low in order to present an image utterly hostile to the truth; he has endangered the nation both from enemies abroad who have sworn its destruction by refusing to condemn their governments and in many cases, aiding and abetting them, and those enemies who enter the country defying its laws and intent on defying the laws once ensconced in the nation; he has invaded the sacred privacy of individuals by tolerating the use of government apparatus to spy on them without their knowledge;...he has endangered those most at risk as they serve their country by destroying the defensive tools intended for the protection of the nation...

The injuries and usurpations of the federal government in the last 20 years far exceed those of King George. We did not stand for it 250 years ago, why are we standing for it now?

This one is remarkably secular compared to the first. Also omits the “Right of the People to alter and abolish (tyrannical government) and to institute new Government”, never mind all direct references to God; I wonder why?

King George’s army was nowhere near as powerful as what we see today. All seeing, all knowing, all powerful.

When only a few folks stand up...they’ll be crushed. When a nation stands up...the enemy will be crushed.

Americans still have too much to lose. Until that changes, we are gonna witness tyranny become ever more present.

Sad, but true.

Very well written. It is going to be hard to dismantle the Democrat Party. You can’t shame them into quitting. They have no shame.
Politics used to be about selecting the best person for a job. The best person for a job was the person who would get the most efficient and effective use out of every hard-earned tax dollar, and they wouldn’t ask for any more tax money than was absolutely necessary. When was the last time you ever heard a Democrat campaign on that issue?

It's a little wishy-washy around the edges. It doesn't call for armed revolution. It doesn't call for the defense of natural rights as endowed by our Creator.

But as an indictment of King Hussein, I thought it was worth sharing.

I have been calling for a “Re-declaration of Independence”, the “red” regions of the territory once known as “the United States of America” separating from the “blue” regions.

Since the “red” portion is very nearly contiguous, that would leave a whole lot of little “blue” islands scattered all across the territory. Each of these “blue” districts could become a republic in and of itself, and they could set up whatever cockamamie rules to govern themselves they wanted. The much larger “red” district could then resume the rule of law under the provisions of the existing Constitution of the United States of America, with certain exceptions, such as removal of the 16th, 17th, 18th and 20th Amendments altogether, and adding one new one, that the Federal government must provide a balanced budget and a pathway to payoff of the existing national debt, until it is fully cancelled.

And oh, yeah, there would be a STRICTLY enforced border drawn between the “red” district and all the little “blue” districts. Any troublemaker from a “blue” district that comes in attempting to agitate in the “red” district would be immediately and promptly deported to the “blue” district from whence he (or she) came. The second time, deported to Antarctica.

Yep. I think that’s where it’s going to start. Like the Colorado baker who refused to to endorse a homo wedding. He has also said he will not comply with the indoctrination order or the reporting requirements. Which puts the ball in the gummint’s court. Either they back down or they take this guy to jail for practicing his religion. If they try the latter and a thousand Christian soldiers stand against them, we’ve got a Bundy ranch situation all over.

Enough of these and we’ll either control this hostile government or it will escalate beyond mere peaceful resistance.

Any nation that can elect Barack Obama not once but twice has negated the ballot box as a route to salvation.

Back then, we had no input whatsoever. Today we have too much. Since 1913 the people have been responsible for putting their oppressors in office. Elections alone cannot cure our ills.

A law, and taxes are imposed by congress, and only signed into law and enforced by the president...

So...If we do not adhere to the “rule of law”, or pay our taxes, are we really in the right???

Don’t get me wrong, if the majority were to rise up and make the changes, when we have that opportunity, you know, those things called elections...

If we fail to get the turnout due to some pesky annoyances that somehow create this apathetic political environment we are living in now...

Who do we really have to blame???

If you wish to act like the fools in Ferguson, Mo., fine...

If you wish to be resolved, and resolute to the purpose for change (in a civil manner), then make sure YOU get up off your azz, get others (most important) to get off their azz, and do what is right, regardless of what you see and hear from now till November...

I do not disagree with your statement...It is what it implies that we (of conservative bent) not adhere to the rule of law...That idea feeds the mindset of political apathy...And that is a win/win for the liberal/socialists that desire to destroy the founding principles of this country once and for all...

It is not quite time to go to gun, for lack of a better term...We need to play this smarter and with more forward thinking than the immediacy of the emotional BS the left pushes on the weak minded in this country...
