You don’t know that. I wouldn’t got that far to judge him as that. It wasn’t you there. The corner said the shots were through the front of the body not in his back as fleeing.
One of the hand wounds is consistent with being shot from the back while running away, but it could also be something else, like hands raised above head. This seems consistent with witness statements. Everything will come out at trial, but the damage will be long done.
