Wouldn’t a hospital injury/admittance report confirm an injury to Wilson?
HIPAA would keep the medical/admittance records from being disclosed. I don’t know if the officer could authorize disclosure. He’s in a delicate situation, as is the PD.
It’s too early for the PD to have invoices/bills for medical expenses.
