I believe what your seeing in the shot pattern up the body is the officer bringing his weapon up from low ready position. you never shoot to wound and you never shoot to kill. This is not Holywood folks. A young fit person can cover 35ft. fast. That is why he is triggering as he is bringing the gun up. The shot to the top of his head is the last shot and was likely fired a split second after the shot that brought MB down and hit as MB was falling.
You’re supposed to shoot for center of mass, but with a moving target, that center of mass changes by the second.
