Ukraine and Russia have a dispute over Crimea, the government in Kiev, and over Kiev intentions towards ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine. Clearly this means Germany should be in the middle.

yeah,,, no kidding. Of all the nations in Europe doing nothing in eastern Ukraine, the world looks to Germany and says “do something!”.
