House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) suggested President Obama should cut his vacation short in light of the apparent murder of a U.S. journalist by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
Rogers on Wednesday said Obama should follow the lead of British Prime Minister David Cameron who reportedly returned from vacation to lead a meeting on the threat posed by the group.
"The optics of being on vacation and not coming away from that vacation, I just think are bad," Rogers said on Fox News. "That is why I think [Cameron] is going back. He is going to show he is the prime minister and he is taking this matter seriously, and he is on the job making the decisions that you need to make to keep Britain safe."

And the treasonous EXEMPT ... love him for it.
I’m amazed to see David Hunt on FOX this morning supporting negotiating with these animals.
Americans should be smart enough to avoid going places like that unless they’re going with an army.
“The optics...”
I hate that phrase.
How can you cut short an ongoing vacation that has been uninterrupted since January 20th 2009?
It's not fair to Oabam who is attempting to break the Guinness Book of World Records for Executive Branch Golf Time. This is his most serious effort since being elected so let's give him credit where credit is due...
Meh....it’s not like he will actually be the one making any of the decisions. Who cares? Golf away Hussein.....
I don’t trust this enemy islamist for anything.
ANYTHING.
How dare that anyone suggest that Clown Prince nobama interrupt any of his multiple vacations. Isn’t it racist to do so? Oh, by the way...does this bum spend any time with his purported “family” (or for that matter, with his dog)? It is all Kabuki.
Obama knows he can’t ‘deal’ with ISIS, so he’s doing the only thing he knows how to do-nothing.
