To: Jim Noble
Nathan Bedford's first Maxim of American politics (all politics in America is not local but ultimately racial) heretofore has had application largely limited to efforts by Democrats to gain electoral advantage, often done with great success. Recently, however, we have seen racial politics exploited to permit the government to behave illegally and unconstitutionally which is of course precisely what is happening at our southern border and what the Democrats have threatened to do respecting amnesty.

We have also seen the exploitation of racial politics bent to achieve extralegal, illegal and unconstitutional power over government to advantage one race over another. Recently, in Ferguson, Missouri we have seen racial mobs effect the removal of one legally constituted police force with another and attempt to remove a legally constituted prosecutor for another. On a more subtle level, we have seen pressure groups force affirmative action in universities and in government contracts as well as by extortions of large corporations.

Pat Buchanan, who is so the right about so many matters, predicts a general amnesty of some sort and a violent reaction across the country. Jim Noble, who is also often right about so many matters, implies that Obama and his administration are deliberately lighting the fires of a race war.

There is nothing in Obama's heritage, biography, associations, writings, record, or his administration which would suggest otherwise. It is analogous to later stages in a guerrilla war in which leftists move from one modality to another, from guerrilla activity to more conventional warfare, for example, as they move to seize power. It is perfectly believable that Obama is consciously ramping up the process and applying it to race.
