With President Obama expected to announce executive action on immigration reform soon, Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis Gutiérrez says he is telling people to “get ready.”
“It's music to my ears that someone would have a source at the White House that say it's 5 million. Let me just say, tomorrow, the next day, and all of this week we're getting ready,” he said.
Gutiérrez appeared on MSNBC's Jose Diaz-Balart after MSNBC senior White House correspondent Chris Jansing said that senior White House officials expect Obama to grant executive amnesty to around 5 million illegal immigrants after his European trip to Estonia and Wales next week.
Reports have indicated that the executive action President Obama is planning to make by the end of summer could legalize some 5 million undocumented immigrants.
According to Gutiérrez, such a move would be “huge” and will require a lot of work.

I never thought of that. I assumed he was just going to instruct Immigration, Border Patrol, etc. to go very easy on illegals.
Either way, the dems can argue that the move is legal, and falls within Obama's powers as president. The MSM will back that up.
What I don't see Obama doing is issuing blanket citizenships. That would be a bridge too far (for now).

Actually it’s been this process for a long time even during the Bush years. It’s been going on for awhile, just not at the level they are ‘preparing’ for.
This mass amount of amnesty of 5 million or 10 million will turn 50-50 states a deep shade of blue and cause a whole generation of legitimate American voters to be neutered.
This is part of Obama’s fundamental change, to quash the influence of conservatives in the United States.
Then when it does come time to impeach, we'll have all those high crimes and misdemeanors ready to roll.

The scary thing is that he COULD get away with it. And it would bring in more Dem votes in the next elections...among the survivors.
When the Rule of Law is lost, then it will be a real Civil War.
We have to try and preserve the Rule of Law.
From Post #38. here’s a way to combat Obama via legal means:
“There is one other possible way out of this mess. A governor needs or a group of governors need to file for a federal injunction order to negate any of Obama’s EOs concerning mass amnesty. The US Attorneys will not be able to enforce the amnesty EOs and nationwide sheriffs can apprehend and detain illegal aliens without interference from the White House.”
They are still in the country illegal so a pardon hasn’t really done anything, they can still be deported.
Naw, the smart folks'll tell you that that's off the table....better not go there.
