Let's say they somehow prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they were Officer Wilson's shots.
After being assaulted by Brown there was a struggle for his weapon which was turned on him and a shot fired in the vehicle almost striking him. Officer Wilson regains his weapon and fires 6 rounds at the fleeing Brown, missing him. Those shots being absolutely justified; fleeing, dangerous felon.
Brown then turns and charges the officer...the final 4 shots.
That's just one scenario.

...except that there are at least 6 holes in Brown, all in his front. The “turned around during the pause” theory fails.
