DEFCON 1?
Maybe that doesn’t mean what I think it does — but DEFCON 1 would be an overreaction, IMO.

Defense Condition One (”Cocked Pistol”) is the highest alert level and has never been implemented.
Maybe DEFCON-1 would NOT be an overreaction. The 9-11 anniversary is coming up really fast, and the Islamic Jihadists seem to be transfixed by some mystical significance attached to that date - Remember September 11, 2012? The Benghazi takedown was planned IN ADVANCE for that date.
They are here, and they are bad. Like bad to the bone, evil and with malice intent.
We have gone down this wrong road before. And it did not end well then, either.
Not when you see the carnage of fully equipped armies already in the usa..shootings of truckers on the highway, forest fires, heads on polls and a good bit of the black population joining in with obamma at the head with putin..too late before it breaks out sadly..
That was my first thought but my second was wait when have you ever heard a retired American General warning us to go to DEFCON 1.
Seriously, he is either crazy or he knows something we do not. Things that make you go... hmmmm.
Balloon up, boys in the silos at the ready with keys in place... I think his comment was intended as hyberbole.
