In a way, you can’t blame him for not getting traction. With the cavalcade of rolling scandals and crises, you need a scorecard to keep up with everything.
If there is anything brilliant about the Obama administration, it is their uncanny ability to have a new crisis/scandal wipe the old crisis/scandal off of the front page in a continuous rolling sequence of events, keeping the news media and the public unfocused. Some, but not all of this, has been dumb luck.
if he was serious he’d jail lerner and get rolling. he doesn’t need anyone’s permission to do that.
but since this is kabuki theater it won’t happen.
