Three key things would be desirable to correct for Russia, the high-ranking Russian federal official speaks. First, parameters and terms of decrease by Ukraine of duties on goods from EU. According to the interlocutor of "Sheets", it is necessary to reduce them gradually, Russia concerned about duties on goods of which it is the share $4 billion from $16 billion Secondly, trade regulation excite — technical regulations of EU are much more rigid, and access of the Russian goods on the Ukrainian market will stop. Thirdly, unification or mutual recognition of norms of phytosanitary control is necessary: in Russia three forms of issue of certificates, and in EU — one. The transition period also can be necessary for the solution of the second and third problems, the federal official considers.

The Ukrainian officials publicly rejected yesterday opportunity to correct the agreement with EU. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Klimkin wrote in the twitter: "We won't change the agreement text. We ratify and will implement". Yesterday it wasn't succeeded to phone to Poroshenko's representatives.

In European Commission possibility of updating of the document also rejected.

By September 12 the working group of representatives of Russia, Ukraine and EU will prepare the report on risks for the countries of the Customs union from association of Ukraine and EU and versions of the solution of problems, Putin declared. Concrete amendments not only annexes to the agreement on association, but also the agreement are possible, Ulyukaev declared. Ukraine allows such opportunity, Belousov confirmed. The first meeting of group will take place on September 1 in Brussels, Ulyukaev reported. To read on the PRIME site

Who would trust the Russians now? (When should anyone have ever trusted the Russians?)

The best would be for all Western nations to suspend all trade and diplomatic relations with Russia. It is a fallacy to think that we can ever deal with them.

This will not happen, because Angela Merkel and those following her are carefully insuring that Western Europe is dependent on Russian fuel supplies.

In view of this, my prediction is: inevitable war with Russia, and the reoccupation of Eastern Europe by the Russians. What will Rand Paul do about this?
